>What measures do you take to safeguard children?
Keeping children safe is our top priority. Our procedures are designed to exceed the DfE’s guidelines as outlined in Keeping Children Safe in Education.
We complete the following checks on every candidate as part of our on-boarding process:
1. An Enhanced DBS check with Child Barred List check from or registered to the Online Update Service
2. Photographic proof of identity
3. Right to work check
4. Address Verification
5. Proof of qualifications
6. Work references
7. Medical declaration certifying fitness to work in a school
8. Disqualification declaration confirming that they have never been disqualified from working with children
9. Overseas criminal checks, where they apply
10. Validation of identity documents
Once a booking is confirmed, you'll receive all relevant vetting details via email, including the DBS number, the checks we’ve carried out, and a photo of the instructor. We also adhere to strict safeguarding procedures, conduct thorough risk assessments for all activities, and ensure staff-to-child ratios meet Ofsted guidelines.

Yes, our instructors have extensive experience working with children. We collaborate with a diverse team of instructors from various backgrounds. To ensure the highest level of care and engagement, all of our instructors undergo additional behavioural training, equipping them with the skills to manage and support students effectively.
